Mathematical Ecology

Mathematical Ecology is a research group based in the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford, led by Professor Michael Bonsall. We undertake cross-disciplinary research using mathematical approaches to explore challenges in ecology, evolution, health, business and economics.

Much of this research involves developing theoretical models alongside experimental or observational data, allowing us to test hypotheses using mathematical and statistical approaches.

Our new website is currently in development and will be launching soon.
